Francis Bradley is the Chief Operating Officer of the Canadian Electricity Association (CEA), and is a frequent speaker on issues of security, public opinion towards electric utilities, and the restructuring of the electricity industry. For five years, he co-authored the annual North American Electric Industry Outlook, published jointly by the Washington International Energy Group and CEA.
Mr. Bradley is the Energy and Utilities Sector representative on the National Cross Sector Forum, overseeing Canada’s Action Plan for Critical Infrastructure. He is also a member of the National Advisory Committee of Canada’s Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction, which he co-chairs, along with the Standards Council of Canada and the Smart Grid Standards Advisory Committee.
Prior to joining CEA, Francis was a consultant on public affairs, media relations, and public opinion research, and worked in the banking and oil sectors. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) in Political Science from Concordia University.
